I was pretty uncertain of what I wanted for my wedding when I got engaged, except that I knew I wanted Kris Drake to be my wedding photographer. For years I'd known she was perfect for the job, I was so nervous she would be booked and when she accepted the job I just about cried.
I knew of Kris Drake and her wedding photography from 4 different couples I knew, all of which do not know each other. What was is amazing about Kris' work is that when you look at her wedding albums, you don't say to yourself "oh that is such a Kris Drake photo", you say, "wow, she really captured the energy and the essence of that couple, their album really looks like them and their style".
Her ability to take candid photos is unbelievable. I didn't want some artsy photographer taking images in the style that is popular today, I wanted timeless shots that really captured the day. When I look at my photo album, I think about the day and all the memories made. She is honestly the best around.

Kris is fantastic! She put us at ease with her helpful suggestions for posing, and her easy-going personality was wonderful. Thanks Kris!
