About
Owner/Pastry Chef, Maria Giacona is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She has won various awards, including first place for wedding cake design and assembly for the 139th Salon of Culinary Arts competition in NYC. She also received recognition for her whimsical cake designs, one of which was featured in the 2008 Culinary Institute Catalog of Cakes. Maria's skills continued to blossom while employed as a pastry chef at various five star establishments in New York and Massachusetts.
After her most recent position as head wedding and specialty cake designer for Pascale Catering, Maria chose to develop her own business focusing on specialty cakes and pastry.
