Lisa Austin started LA Events and Weddings back in 2012 after becoming a Certified Wedding and Event Planner following the attendance of a nationally accredited wedding and planning institute at UCCS in 2011. A graduate from Colorado State University with Bachelors in Science in Biology in 1985, Lisa has spent most of her life in the beautiful state of Colorado. She has worked many jobs, both in the school system and as a successful entrepreneur with her own nutrition-based company. Lisa did all of this while raising five children, all of who actually like each other! Lisa has always loved her events, whether it be a home birthday party or the wedding of one of her daughters. Lisa loves the whole experience and thrives knowing she provided a fun and memorable experience for everyone. She would be honored to provide exceptional wedding and event services!

Andrea Davies joined us back in 2017 and with her extensive background, Andrea was a natural fit to join LA Events and Weddings. Andrea has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Food and Service Management, and an Associates in Science in Baking and Pastry Arts with a concentration on Event and Hospitality Management. Prior to becoming the mother of four, Andrea spent time in the Big Apple, working at a highly regarded resort known as Chelsea Piers. Known for some of the most influential and notable events, Andrea was the Lead Pastry Cook for both Pier Sixty and The Lighthouse. Later, moving back to Colorado, Andrea lead teams at Whole Foods Market as a Cake Decorator and industry buyer. Deciding to turn her passion into her own company, she opened Persnickety Bakes back in June 2017. Since then, she has enjoyed providing support to the clients of LA Events and Weddings and looks forward to the next event!
