La Guli Pastry Shop, based in Astoria, New York, is a bakery offering delicious Italian pastries and treats for weddings. This store was first opened in 1937 by Paolo Notaro and still operates from the same premises today. Paolo emigrated from Italy, bringing with him recipes for delicious pastries to share with his new neighborhood. Every cake from this business is lovingly handmade and made fresh daily. Today, the bakery is led by Paolo's grandson Rosario and granddaughter Maria.
