The ISH recently played at our wedding on St Thomas and they truly MADE the party!
We wanted something unique, not a traditional "wedding band", and we got exactly what we wanted and so much more with The ISH.
They have a perfect blend of classic rock and other awesome hits along with great reggae/island tunes.
Everyone had such a blast at the wedding that we are STILL getting compliments on how wonderful the band was!

Amazingly available and willing to learn new songs. We adored The Ish. Their voices were lyrical when called for and flat out jammin' when we were ready to dance. We could not have been happier with our band choice for our family wedding that turned into a dance party.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, one of our biggest priorities was the entertainment. I’m not a big fan of traditional wedding bands and didn’t want to hear the same predictable playlist at our reception that we’d heard at every other wedding we’d been to. One of the rules of them I used to evaluate the band was that if I wouldn’t go to hear them at a bar, I didn’t want them to play at the wedding. In short, I didn't want to hire a "wedding band." I wanted to hire a band to play at our wedding. Which brings me to The ISH.

I came across The ISH very serendipitously. They didn’t have a CD to send me, but I saw a few grainy videos of them playing at the bar through their manager's website. The videos were okay, but definitely didn't do them justice and weren't enough to convince me to hire them. What sold me on them was having musicians who I respected rave about them. We definitely relied on word-of-mouth and it worked out perfectly.

The ISH so exceeded my expectations. Brie and Fletch are amazing vocalists and they were supported by a super talented group of musicians. They kept the dance floor full, even though we were a small group (only about 45). A few months before the wedding, they had sent me their playlist and my husband and I selected the songs we’d like to hear. They even learned a Bob Dylan song that wasn’t in their normal repertoire for our wedding. Their rates are very reasonable and Jared was very responsive and accommodating during the months leading up to the wedding. I always felt like we were on the same page in terms of the vibe for the night.

If you’re the type of bride and groom who would love to jam out to “Seven Nation Army,” “Fire on the Mountain,” and “Tell Me Something Good,” you will love these guys. Several guests came up to me afterward and said they were the best band they’d ever heard at a wedding. I can’t wait to go to St. John again to see them perform. They knocked my socks off.
