Mary is an owner & bartender of La Vaquera. Originally from North Carolina, Mary has been living part-time in Puerto Rico for more than 20 years. With many years of experience in the wedding industry, Mary brings a wealth of expertise to her current role. She is also an avid surfer and water enthusiast, enjoying the waves and exploring new beaches around the world. When Mary is not shaking up delishious margaritas at the bar or out surfing perfect waves you can find her making art or working hard as a realtor. No doubt Mary is a versatile, dynamic & fun individual with a passion for life and new experiences!
Laya is an owner & bartender of La Vaquera. Originally a Colorado girl, Laya has lived in Latin America for over 20 years & Puerto Rico now for 11. She brings a rich cultural perspective to her work. An outdoor enthusiast and horse girl, Laya enjoys farm life, surfing and traveling with her family. With years of experience in the catering industry and a career as a Pilates & Yoga instructor, she is a versatile, passionate and joyful individual committed to her diverse interests and pursuits!
