Lagom did an incredible job providing food for our wedding, from first contact to follow-through on the day-of. Linnea and Lake make a great team. Every time we had a question or anxiety about how to proceed, Linnea was quick to follow up with solutions and ideas. They worked with us by meeting us where we were, not by trying to push us in the direction they wanted to go. This made us feel welcome and prioritized, even though we were planning for a smaller party of 60.

We had to build the menu from afar and they took our vague likes and dislikes and spun them into the perfect combination of tasty but approachable food for our family, which was what we were going for but couldn’t put into words: Italian citrus chicken, ratatouille, heirloom tomato salad two ways and fingerling potatoes. They accommodated the entire menu to be dairy-free and soy-free, including the chocolate mousse cake and lime tarts for dessert; they even built it so our vegan/vegetarian guests had a full plate.

The food was fresh, customized, and cooked to perfection (nothing dry or under-seasoned or bland as can be found in one-size-fits-all venues). Lake really put hard work into making everything possible on-site on the day of the wedding -- no easy feat at a private home venue in the country! He set up and grilled all day and his effort really showed in the final product. We were very proud to serve this food to our families and everyone raved about how good everything tasted. The food really bolstered the good mood.
