When my fiancee and I began investigating a destination wedding, we immediately thought about Las Vegas since we have traveled there together several times. However, I didn't want to do the typical "Las Vegas Strip" wedding. I came across Lake Mead Cruises when doing some research on the Internet and thought it might be a possibility to have our wedding/reception on the landing by the boat. Upon working with Lisa from Lake Mead Cruises, she offered the option of having our ceremony on the top deck of the boat followed by a small reception afterwards on the bottom level. When our officiant had a scheduling conflict she even rearranged our ceremony time to make sure our selected officiant could be part of our special day. On top of all of this the price was very reasonable! This location for our ceremony turned out to be an absolute gem! The spring weather couldn't have been better, the scenic backdrops for our photos were amazing, and the food provided on the cruise was exceptional. Lake Mead is only about 30-45 minutes from Las Vegas, so it is a convenient location for holding a beautiful and memorable ceremony. Lake Mead Cruises truly made our special day one to remember!
