We booked a room block at the Lancaster Hotel for our November 2021 wedding, and also used one of the Artist Suites for the bridal party to get ready in, and as our honeymoon suite. The Lancaster is a gorgeous hotel with attentive staff and delicious food. We worked with Emre to book the room block and he was extremely helpful throughout the planning process. He gave us a tour of the hotel, including showing us the artist suite. He also allowed my mom to stay at the hotel at a discounted rate before we booked our room block. On the Thursday before our wedding weekend, Emre and Tom Harwell (general manager) proactively set up a meeting with me, my mom and my dad to go over the schedule and agenda for the weekend and answered all of our questions. This put us at ease going into the weekend, and we knew we would be well taken care of. Our guests ranted and raved about the accommodations, including the beautiful, delicious breakfast buffet and luxurious rooms. The location was convenient for us as well, since our wedding Mass was at Annunciation Catholic Church and our reception at the Houston Club. The Artist Suite made for gorgeous getting ready photos, and I did my first look with my dad on the mezzanine level of the hotel. The lobby also has a gorgeous staircase that is a nice spot for photos. The bell staff was also incredibly attentive and hardworking - they were gentle and careful with all of my belongings, including my wedding dress, and were working hard the entire weekend.
