I chose Laurel & Rose as our wedding planner the end of 2020, almost a full year and a half before our wedding. Through this time, I worked closely with Mariah Burke (our Lead Planner) to carefully craft my perfect vision of a wedding day. Right off the bat, her attention to detail, organization, and personality shined through above the 8 other planners I had talked with. Each step was custom to us and she made us feel at ease in trusting her with picking our vendors, design decks, handling budget, and other things that would come up. There was not one time where I felt like her second priority, even a year out! Her and Jolene (Lead Planner & Owner) respond promptly, both in and outside of business hours, set valid expectations and really partner together well. They are best friends and look like sisters! Fun fact, Laurel & Rose is named after Jolene's sisters and it truly feels like a family when you work with these two. Mariah had the perfect amount of advice for me when I felt undecisive, but I still truly like the day was my design.

The day of the wedding, IT COULDN'T HAVE GONE SMOOTHER. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I of course had to make last minute changes and there were definitely some fires the week before that Mariah just dealt with. Everything was perfect and so unbelievably custom to Brian and I's relationship. Mariah and Jolene were like angels in my corner - gave me a heads up for what was the come next, with still allowing me to be fully present, trusting them to be in charge. Mariah is incredibly professional, direct and has some spunk to make things all around 'fun.' I was giddy after every vendor call we had together and wish we could do it all over again!!! I highly, highly recommend Laurel & Rose for whoever is looking for a wedding planner. They are worth every penny and stay super competitive with price points. The experience was a 10/10! Jolene and Mariah are true industry experts. The grace, professionalism, and vendor selection was top notch. My husband and I are both in the industry, so we had really high expectations. They exceeded all of them and more! Our wedding was hands down the best wedding I’ve ever attended, and usually the bride and groom don’t get to truly enjoy their wedding day! Our wedding was so well orchestrated and curated to ensure we enjoyed every moment, all our senses were heighten! Since our wedding was in the midst of the pandemic the precautions taken from their team and the vendors made us and our small group of guests feel safe and comfortable.
From the first phone conversation I knew I could completely trust them with every detail. I can’t even begin to describe how fabulous the entire process was. They made us feel so special, it felt like we were their only clients! On the day of our wedding we showed up and didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The details and flow of the day was truly magical, it was a literal fairytale! At one point Jolene was on her knees in damp grass making sure my shoes were properly on my feet, all while maintaining a smile on her face! This only shines a small light on how truly kind, gracious, and creative Jolene and Mariah are. Stop searching for a wedding planner and pick L&R! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Truly incredible! Mariah and Jolene supported us and advocated for us throughout the whole wedding process. From proactive, detailed checklists and periodic check-ins to developing last-minute contingency rain plans, Mariah thoughtfully helped execute our vision to a T.
