If you're getting married in the Bethlehem/Hellertown area, this is a venue that you may not have seen on wedding websites such as this, but you should absolutely consider. We expected to get a good bang for buck but we were blown away by how well everything went from start to finish.
Paragon Catering handles pretty much everything, from food to cake to table covers. The food is prepared on site. They can offer a live band too. They have been in the wedding business for 20+ years and made the process very easy for us. We recommend proactive communication via email and/or phone call if you have questions.
The cost amounted to a $500 venue deposit + food package. It’s not a large venue but it handled our crowd of 85 easily. See decoration pics.
Their wedding package blew away all other venues/caterers in this area. It was $55/person, 8 buffets, ~ 6 butlered hors d’oeuvres, custom 3 tier wedding cake, dessert table, salads, coffee, birch beer, table covers, bartender, mixers, and tax included. Everything tasted amazing!
Paragon's #1 asset is their flexibility. They told us that the provided menu of options was just a sample of what they could do. We had many gluten intolerant guests and so we customized almost the whole buffet. Every guest raved about the selection and quality. Also, the cake was designed from an online pic and they replicated it perfectly. Each layer had different flavors of cake and filling. They also made a family dessert recipe.
Leithsville's reception hall (aka Lincoln Hall) allows BYOB. This is KEY, especially if you don't think that an open bar is worth the money. You can either keep or return leftovers, saving hundreds this way. Remind them to only open bottles when necessary.
Setup allowed the night before. They worked so well with other vendors and made our day very much stress free.
In summary, if you want your wedding to be simple and reasonable but also have the most food options possible, we recommend choosing The Leithsville.
