Charisse helped us plan our wedding, which encountered many, many hurdles in the 18 months we worked with her. First, our chosen wedding venue abruptly closed. That very evening, Charisse called us with multiple alternative options. Then, with just 2 weeks to go, the COVID-19 pandemic canceled our wedding celebration. Charisse was instrumental in communicating with our venue and all our vendors and ensuring we were aware of our options. While we stuck with our original wedding date, we decided to postpone our larger wedding celebration--only to have it canceled a second time due to a spike in cases right before the holidays. Again, Charisse was there to help us talk through options and decide what was best for us. Ultimately, we were able to (finally) celebrate our wedding on our first anniversary in March 2021! We could not have weathered all the stress and unexpected closures/cancellations without Charisse. Because of her, we did finally get to celebrate our wedding the way we had planned. We are so grateful for the many late night phone calls, emails, and texts she exchanged with us, and for recommending the most amazing vendors who stuck with us for two venues and not two, but three, different dates! Charisse is professional and great at what she does. She took a couple with no real wedding vision and pulled off a beautiful and elegant (and FUN) event despite the long delay (and the fact that we were already legally married)!
