Li'l Boîte Pâtisserie is an independently owned and operated bakery in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Founded in August 2021, the bakery's name is a combination of the English slang term for “little” and the French word “boîte,” which means “box.” The bakery's mission is to foster community with intention, and this is demonstrated through its brand values of curiosity, authenticity, transparency, and sustainability.

All of Li'l Boîte’s products are handcrafted from scratch using hyperlocal, seasonal ingredients whenever possible (featuring produce, dairy & organic grains within a two-hour radius of the bakery). I specialize in French pastry including viennoiserie, gâteaux pâtisserie, & confectionery, with a focus on layered flavors and varied textures. Individual pastries and boutique pastry boxes are available by pre-order. These pastry boxes ("boîtes assorties") are a curated assortment of pastries meant to serve a small number of people for special occasions or as a treat. Each box features a variety of tastes, textures, and culinary techniques (following a formula of cookie, bread, cake, tart), including sweet and savory items. My menu changes often, taking advantage of the season’s bounty. I suggest most couples to start by ordering the Boîte Assorite to get an understanding of my unique creative approach. Weekly or monthly specials are also available as produce is in peak-season. Orders are available for local pick-up every Saturday, from 9am-2pm.

As a business owner, I follow a practice of environmental harm reduction. This impacts every aspect of the business and is especially true for sourcing ingredients. Social and environmental sustainability are important to the bakery and its customers. By being transparent in its sourcing practices, Li'l Boîte Pâtisserie assures customers that their money is well spent. While I primarily work with enriched doughs, I often try to accomodate gluten-free, diary-free, or vegan pastry. *Please inquire before purchase for any special dietary restrictions.

Li'l Boîte Pâtisserie is a cottage bakery according to the Ohio Department of Agriculture. This category of business doe snot require home inpection nor a business license, however I do hold a food handlers permit, certified as of 2019.
