Hi! I am Celeste, the owner and lead designer for Village General Farms. I have been in and around floral design for nearly a decade and have been working in horticulture for 15 years, starting Village General has been a dream come true, I get to work from home, spend time with my family, and join my love for growing plants and bearing witness to the loving commitment our couples make to one another.

My favorite floral designs to create are bridal bouquets and installations! I think the bouquet should always be distinct and stunning, even if it is more simple. As for installations, they much such an impact! They 'wow' guests, and look incredible photographed. It is always a pleasure to get creative when working out how to make a new installation come to life!

Something that is close to my heart is social justice, both personally and with Village General, we make donations yearly to those fighting on the front lines of the fight for liberation of all folks.

Hi! (this is Celeste writing this because Nathan would never !) Nathan is a life long farmer, and before we got into flowers he grew for our village CSA program and worked with urban youth groups teaching kids how to grow food on a small scale. He now is a hydroponic veggie farmer along with growing all the flowers for Village General- I don't know where he gets the energy! Nathan working with me on installing and delivering just about every wedding we do. I am proud to say we work better together than apart and his technical and pragmatic brain is the perfect compliement to my more creative and 'inspired way of thinking!

Nathan cares deeply about tending the land and leaving eveything in life better than he found it; the planet, plants, and people alike. There is no building project too big for him to figure out!
