We’re so grateful to Louie for capturing our wedding so beautifully. We chose Louie as our photographer because we loved his documentary-style approach and classic-meets-modern aesthetic. He was such a calming presence for our wedding day and so helpful for us as people who do not consider ourselves to be at all photogenic or typically comfortable in front of a camera. We are so glad that Louie photographed our wedding. Going through the photographs from the weekend, we cannot believe how many wonderful and special moments he captured. When we first met him, he told us his goal was to capture the day as we remembered it and he did absolutely that. From the start he was a calming presence and was able to put the the two of us (who are introverts at heart and not use to being the center of attention) at ease. We love his style and think it is really special that he also captures things on film. Like many others have said, we cannot stop looking at the photos. They are truly amazing.

The wedding pictures were the part of the wedding that gave me the most anxiety as I began planning. My husband and I are not huge picture people, but Louie and his team were able to set us completely at ease . I love his documentary style, the way he was able to capture the emotions of the day without making us feel like we posed for hours. It felt so casual and authentic, which was exactly what we wanted.

Louie and his assistant were absolutely incredible on the day of the wedding. If anything, my biggest complaint is that there are too many amazing pictures to choose from and there's no way I can fit all my favorites in one wedding album. His eye for the tiny special moments of the day is incredible (my absolute favorite is the one of us hugging right after the ceremony which I didn’t even notice he captured until we got our pictures back). It was such a treasure to be able to re-experience every little moment of our day once we got our full album. Louie suggested the golden hour pictures - which ended up being some of my favorites.

My husband’s grandma recently passed away and I know all the pictures we have of her will be forever cherished as a memento of one of the last memories we were able to create with her. If you are considering using Louie, don’t hesitate, he’s amazing!
