Services Offered
Karisa’s motto is to help you capture today for the sake of tomorrow. Note that her editing style is a mix of true-to-color, natural, light, and airy because it is extremely important to work with a photographer whose style you admire. A consultation can be set up over the phone, via zoom, or even over a coffee to talk through the specifics. During this meeting, she will take the time to learn your needs, wants, and greatest desires!
Based on this, she will be able to give you her professional insight and suggest which of her packages would work best for you. Additionally, your full gallery will be ready digitally within 12 weeks after your wedding. You can either download or directly purchase prints from the same.

The BEST photographer
From the start Karisa was very easy to work with and is an incredibly kind, caring person. A photographer captures really intimate moments, and my husband and I felt so comfortable with her. She did a great job coaching us through the poses and went to a variety of locations to make sure we got all the shots.
Specifically for the wedding, she was incredibly organized by sending us a wedding questionnaire and creating a very detailed timeline, making sure she knew all the important photos we wanted to get. On my wedding day, she felt like one of my friends and was hyping my husband and I up all day. She was super respectful of our time and made sure we got photos efficiently so we could enjoy as much time with our family and friends
Regarding her work, she is an AMAZING photographer. We got so many compliments on our engagement photos, some people saying they look like they could have been in a magazine. We are even more blown away with our wedding sneak peaks which she sent over 2 days after our weddings (we were shocked with how quickly they arrived). All of my friends and family that worked with Karisa spoke so highly of her and said we made the right decision hiring her.

Hi there! I'm Karisa, the owner and lead photographer of Love, Lomax Studios. I went full-time with my business in April of 2022 after working as a registered nurse for a couple of years and realizing I could help others in a different career field. I am a lover of "love" and can't help but smile and tear up with each love story I capture. I also just got married in October 2022 to my best friend who is in the Coast Guard. We recently relocated to Arlington, VA in June of 2023 and we are so excited to be in the DC Metro area!
