We were on the hunt to support a local AAPI florist when we came across Marie with Love Theory Floral Co! We set up our first meeting and received a thorough proposal and breakdown. The florals were always something that made me a little nervous - it's hard for me to describe what exactly it is I love (or don't love) about a particular arrangement. Marie was very responsive and communicative as I shared my preferences - particularly about certain elements I wanted or did not want, suggestions for hanging arrangements, and a desire to repurpose as much as possible! These elements were as specific as "I want peonies" or a general vague sense like "I don't like the look of rounded leaves like eucalyptus." We had a venue visit to scope out the ceiling for a hanging arrangement where we could find the balance of not too sparse but not too busy/full (or crazy expensive). I shared some Pinterest inspo and entrusted her with my thoughts and on the day of our wedding, I walked into our venue to beautiful arrangements which were exactly as I envisioned!

When I had ideas for the wedding arch and bouquet that did not match our wedding vision, she was patient and was able to get me to see her point by sending me pictures. Marie was spot-on in connecting us with vendors that fit in well with our wedding vision and our vibe as a couple - we got our DJ, Photobooth, dessert vendors and wedding favors through her!

On the day of the wedding, she was everywhere directing people, making sure that everything was set up beautifully, and even taking care of last-minute logistics such as finding my wedding vows from my duffel bag. Family and friends praised Marie’s services and commented afterwards that they were surprised our wedding day was so smooth.
