Host Your Special Event at Lux.

Rent the Artist Pavilion, the Education Pavilion, or both, depending on the feeling you want to create for your special event. Lux can accommodate your birthday party, cocktail party, wedding, lecture, dinner, professional development activity, or other private events. Plus, Lux teaching artists can moderate an art-inspired activity for your group of coworkers or kids, designed for both interactive fun and team building.

Education Pavilion and Garden

The Lux Education Pavilion is beautifully suited for any kind of event. Our four large art studios open onto a lovely, spacious garden and inviting open‐air amphitheater, which together creates a unique and beautiful atmosphere for your special occasion.

ARTIST PAVILION Thursday and Friday: 1 pm–5 pm Saturday: 11 am–5 pm

EDUCATION PAVILION Monday through Friday: 9 am–5 pm Saturday: 11 am–5 pm

GREAT place for so many types of events

The venue has so many possibilities for use. From corporate, teambuilding to weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs, it is GREAT! Victor is awesome and so accommodating to ensure your needs are met.

Love this venue. Everyone at the Lux is supportive and helpful.

I highly recommend the Lux Art Institute as an event venue. The space is a blank canvas just waiting for your imagination - the perimeter is surrounded by large trees and you feel tucked away in a secret garden. It is perfect for anyone wanting to have both a wedding ceremony and celebration in one space. We have done multiple events at this venue and no one has been disappointed. Rustic, boho feel without the drive - conveniently located in Encinitas. Space is large enough to accommodate a large wedding. Limited indoor space, but you could tent if inclement weather.

Magical Venue

I threw a 200+ person wedding last year at the Lux Venue and had such a wonderful experience! From the flexibility to the vibe, to the help...It was magical. Highly recommend.
