I could wax poetic all day at how exceptional of an experience I had with Lauren and her co-photographer. My wedding day was exceptionally chaotic, and I'm pretty shy and don't like to be the center of attention, two things that typically don't bode well for photography.. However, Lauren worked her magic and helped ease my stresses and shyness. When I look back on my photos, it looks elegant, glamorous, and many even look like they should be in a wedding magazine.

You can't redo your wedding, and bad photos or missed memories can be super frustrating, so take the leap and hire her. It's worth every penny.

FIVE STARS. Where do I even start? Lauren was absolutely amazing! Lauren has such a positive and kind personality, which is really radiating. She is wonderful at improvising and has a creative mind. Choosing the right photographer to capture all of your amazing moments on the big day can be so difficult. Thankfully I already had a wonderful friendship with Lauren.

When you think about it, the photographer is with you all day and they are bound to see the good, the bad, the vulnerable and the amazing. Lauren was there for it ALL. When I had my weak moments and break downs, she was there to lift me up and redirect my focus and energy into what the day was really about. She spread light on the entire day. Not to mention she is 5 months pregnant! She climbed on top of chairs, statues and fences to get just the perfect shot, at just the right angle. Who knew photographers needed to be so agile and energetic?

She really did focus on capturing all the wonderful moments, including the ones you knew you might not remember or the ones you wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. She truly put myself and my husband first. When it rained during the cocktail hour, she stood under an umbrella, in the rain, to make sure she still got the shots we wanted. Not once did I hear her complain about her feet hurting, or her hair getting rained on, or how sweaty she was. She ran around busy downtown Saint Augustine with us in between rain showers to capture rare moments and wonderful photos. She even stopped traffic so we could get a once in a life time photo in one of the most beautiful intersections with the Lions Gate Bridge in the background.

She truly put her thoughts and needs aside for us on our big day. We made sure she was fed and stayed hydrated and we also made sure she took time to get off her feet and enjoy the reception with us, as a guest. I must also mention her husband, Jason. He is a wonderful addition and sidekick. They are truly a power couple and work wonderfully as a team and under pressure. He was there to help with anything she needed assistance with. Holding her gear, carrying chairs and equipment, and getting anything else needed for photos. They really made it stress free and easy. I was actually able to live in all the tiny moments thanks to them.

I’ll tell you, you will NOT regret hiring Lauren as your photographer, regardless of the event. Make sure you have her capture the moments for you.

Mary Lauren took our daughter's senior pictures in a variety of settings and allowed for outfits changes. She had patience and great advice for where and how the photos should be taken. Mary Lauren was understanding of our questions and accepted our suggestions as well. She prepared our proofs in a timely manner. They turned out lovely! She captured the memories of such a special milestone in a wonderful way.
