Every bride and groom should feel special on their wedding day. If your in the wedding business every client should be respected and made to feel important because a wedding is one of the most important life events a person will ever experience.
I was so excited about having Madison photograph our wedding and her pictures (at least the ones we have received so far) have indeed been beautiful. But her communication with and consideration of us has truly been abysmal. I was genuinely concerned about her being a no show at the wedding because she never reached out. I was the one who always had to contact her. It was incredibly frustrating.
We got our preview pictures almost immediately but when I reached out about a month later regarding the whole wedding set I received a slightly salty email back about her knowing I was excited but to please know that she was working as quickly as possible. Understandable. She then gave me the time frame of 8-10 weeks. Ok. So I waited. 11 weeks later and i still have not heard a word out of her. Its been very frustrating. Especially because of how much money we paid for her services.
Maybe I'm unique in my experience with her and I sincerely hope thats the case because the reality is that you can be the most amazing and talented photographer on the market but if you don't go out of your way to communicate with and treat your Brides like they are important then your business will inevitably suffer because of it.
