To say Jes is fantastic would be a huge understatement! Jes was recommended to me by the sister of my soon to be fiance. When Jes learned that I was going to propose during our "family photos," she was so over the moon excited for me and so quick to get back to me with all of my completely neurotic questions/concerns/and gave the best advice. The day of the actual proposal/ pictures, I met Jes and just knew it would be a great experience. Her personality was exactly what I needed to calm the nerves and just reassured that everything was going to go according to plan. The pictures came back quickly and OMG so perfect. She caught every wonderful angle, pose, ideas we had along with the perfect time of day with the sun setting. I could not have picked a better photographer to capture one of the happiest days of my life. In fact, we adored her so much that she is flying in and will be doing our wedding in North Carolina as well! We know there are a ton of photographers out there, however, we will not be using anyone other than Jes @ The Maewood Collective. If youre reading reviews and doing your research on who to choose, do yourself a favor book with them. You will come out as happy as we all are!

My fiance and I loved our experience with Jess and her husband. Jess made the entire process so fun and easy and we are in love with the photos she captured (which she got back to us SO quick!). She had so many fun and unique prompts to make the shoot feel natural and easygoing, which produced so many different and beautiful photos. Before our shoot, she was so helpful with choosing our outfits and the location and making sure that we were comfortable going in. We cannot wait to continue to work with The MaeWood Collective in the future and have them capture our wedding day, which Jess is already planning ahead for.
