My wife and I had a destination wedding in Aruba last year on the beach. A few months before the wedding, Marissa met with us and help to guide us through every shot we wanted (and some didn't know we wanted!) to make sure we had pictures with all of our friends and family and that there wasn't any confusion on the big day. She took the time to learn the names of our family members, and of our groomsman and bridesmaids so she didn't have to call anyone "you". The day before the wedding we met again to review all of the details so she didn't miss any important moments, and from there she spent the day scoping out the best places to take pictures - even notating where the sun was in relation to the beach so that we got the best light.

On the big day she went to the bridal suite and got pictures of my wife and all of the bridesmaids getting ready, then came to where the guys were getting ready and got a bunch of pictures of me and the groomsman. She did a beautiful job photographing the ceremony, reception, and after party. She even got some really creative and unique shots of us around the beach and, my personal favorite, a picture of my wife and I, standing on an island in the middle of the hotel pool with the water around us and the hotel in the background.

The same night we got married she was able to show us some "preview shots" and within a week after the wedding she had made an app for us with some highlights that we kept on our phone to show our friends and family. Less than a month after the wedding she created a website where we could look at all of our pictures and pick out the best shots.

I HIGHLY recommend her - every detail was accounted for and Marissa really made sure that the photographs weren't a cause of stress on a very stressful day.

Marisa was hired by my now husband to secretly photograph his proposal at the World War II Memorial in Washington DC. She had to be discreet and flexible to follow his plan and make sure she was at the right place at the right time. It was a lot to ask and she made everything happen, and more! The photos are to die for. I can't tell you how many compliments we received. We also loved how quickly the turn-around was. She edited the photos and provided a web link where we could view them within a day or two. Also we were able to download an application to our phone for easy viewing. It was all so convenient. We only have great things to say about Marisa. One of the pictures was used for our Save the Date announcement. All of Marisa's photographs were featured on our wedding website and they were able to tell the story of our proposal without any explanation. We will cherish these photos forever.
