Marymount Event Center is a historic wedding venue located in Tacoma, Washington. This venue houses the renowned LeMay classic car and Americana memorabilia collection, an ideal setting for those who want a classic, vintage aesthetic. This property offers a wide range of spaces to accommodate all types of wedding events, and create a day to remember.

Facilities and Capacity

Marymount Event Center sits on 80 acres of land, and offers multiple event spaces that can host from five to 500 guests. For couples wanting a more traditional setting, the chapel is an ideal setting. Originally built in the 1920s, it features cement-set stained glass panels, fresco paintings, and original pipe organ for up to 175 guests to enjoy. The Museum boasts a 500-person capacity, and features a barrel-vaulted ceiling, vintage memorabilia décor, and access to the gallery rooms for historically rich cocktail hours. For more intimate groups of up to 80 people, the West Hall gives you the chance to dine among idyllic vehicle displays. The estate also has plenty of lush lawns for soon-to-be-weds wanting to exchange their vows in the outdoors. The Center Lawn provides the elegant brick exterior of the chapel as a backdrop, while the East Lawn is nestled among an awe-inspiring tree grove. Finally, the property’s Cottage Grove surrounds you and your loved ones with an evergreen tree canopy and vineyard arbor, giving Mother Nature the center stage. No matter what setting you prefer, you and your wedding party can prepare themselves in the get-ready suite. It adorns the vintage aesthetic that the entire property shows off, and includes a spacious sitting room, changing area, and large mirrors.

Car services are available, with personal drivers ready to give you an unforgettable arrival and exit. We adored Marymount for our wedding. The chapel is beautiful and the staff is more accommodating than I could have asked. I highly recommend Marymount to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Trudy was a great help very patient and knowledgeable in helping me plan our wedding. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Everyone was courteous, helpful and flexible in helping me pull off a beautiful day! Trudy helped me snag my "soon to be's" dream car, as a surprise, to drive him into our outdoor ceremony. We were able to dress up the tables and chairs the evening before, allowing me to be pampered and relaxed the morning of. Tara helped us pull off timing of cars and music and ensured the entire evening went well.
The entire crew came out to assist with clean up and were so friendly! Absolutely LOVE this venue and can not wait for another visit!

Wedding in June 2021

Heaters were turned on, on 100° day, the venue coordinator was no where to be found. All promises were not kept, was lied to on multiple occasions about safety issues. Guest were denied entry into museum before reception. (We paid for that) our bridal party was told to tear down, vacuum, sweep. (We paid for it to be done by them) the coordinator made inappropriate comments about minor girls in attendance. They also double booked the venue and complicated set up for the wedding. There was no parking due to this. All our other vendors were stressed and upset over the situation. Its a gorgeous site, our dream place. But it was ruined by Jeff Stewart (coordinator) and his malicious actions that put our loved ones in harms way.
