Maya Ohcana Photo is a wedding photography business in Chicago, Illinois. I was born and raised in Chicago and love photographing life here. But just because I'm based in the Windy City doesn't mean I'm not down to travel for anyone who vibes with my work. Wherever you are, I'm ready to capture your day exactly as I see it!

I DON'T BELIEVE IN FITTING INTO ONE CATEGORY

I picked up a camera three years ago, but it's not the only way I like to spend my time. I also have a background in graphic design. I love the outdoors, playing tennis and SoulCycle, exploring new places, embarking on different adventures, and getting to know people and their stories.

I'm quirky, and sometimes, I'm a little more blunt than I should be. But more than anything, I want to be honest with you. In a world where people want to recreate what they see on social media, finding your thing, your vision, and your style is critical.

My favorite clients are people who love life, want authentic photos, and don't mind when I'm singing (off-key) on the dance floor while I'm taking pictures. While I may have been dubbed "least funny" at an old office job (trust me, it's an honor), I make it my mission to sprinkle laughter and spread joy in every session.
