Melissa was the perfect photographer for our wedding and engagement photos. We’re so happy our wedding planner, Tara, recommended her. As a mixed-race couple, it was important to the bride to have someone who knew how to photograph her, and who she felt comfortable with. We loved Melissa so much we did brand photo shoots with her too. On the day of the wedding, Melissa was with us each step of the way from hair and makeup to the end of the night. She captured meaningful moments, and coordinated with the San Diego Zoo Safari Park to get us up to the Old World Succulent Garden, the bride’s favorite spot. She really went the extra mile for us at the reception to take many different sets of photos with our family and friends. All our guests were very appreciative of her. The teaser photos are great! Melissa was amazing!!! We absolutely loved working with her! She photographed our San Diego wedding at the end of December. From our first conversation, my husband and I both felt so comfortable with her. She took the time to meet with us in person when we were visiting San Diego for wedding planning. From the first day we met, I had an instant connection with her, we chatted over our love for beer and red lipstick, and of course photography.
