A little bit about Melissa:

Melissa Messer has recently moved to Portland from Chicago where she styled her clientele at one of the top 200 salons in the US. Having a background as an Aveda In Salon Educator, she has taught the latest trends and styles. With over 13 years of experience with special occasion, bridal updos/makeup, photo shoots, film, commercial looks, lifestyle and runway. Melissa has done hair and makeup for model portfolios, bands, TV, web, film and magazines --both everyday looks and High Fashion as seen in Modern Salon, Lucky, Cosmo Girl and Time Out magazine. She has taken extensive hours of advanced education with Aveda, Vidal Sassoon, Goldwell, and MAC in editorial styling and bridal design. Melissa was excited to be a part of a the makeup team under Rudy Miles at Mercedes New York Fashion Week for Malan Breton(Project Runway alumn), Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. As well as Nick Arrojo's (What Not to Wear) makeup team, at his exclusive annual fashion event, in Chicago. Melissa graduated from the Aveda Institute of Chicago in 2003.
