Memories Ballroom is a banquet hall wedding venue located in Port Washington, Wisconsin, just 30 minutes away from the heart of Milwaukee. In the 1930s, the property was a world-class dance hall where well-known musicians of the time performed. The venue offers the charm of a rustic barn interior with modern accents, creating an inviting atmosphere for couples to host unforgettable celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
Memories Ballroom features a one-of-a-kind event space for to-be-weds to share their big days with family and friends. Here, up to 400 guests can join you. The 2,500-square-foot banquet hall includes a solid maple dance floor, a tamarack log ceiling, and twin stone fireplaces. Warm lighting adorns the space, creating a warm ambience no matter the season. Together, these interior features preserve the rustic elegance that the venue has offered for the past 85 years. The hall is professionally decorated seasonally, meaning you’ll have one less thing you have to worry about during the planning process. For your ceremony or live music at your reception, you are welcome to use the space’s stage. The hall’s bar will be stocked and serviced for you and your guests to enjoy as you dine and dance. Whether you’re hosting your engagement party, shower, rehearsal dinner, or ceremony and reception, the team is happy to accommodate you.
Services Offered
The staff at Memories Ballroom is dedicated to supporting couples throughout their special occasions. To alleviate stress during the planning process, the venue’s experienced event coordinators will work closely with you to create an event that matches your vision. For a vibrant reception that reflects your style, the in-house DJ will also design a personalized plan. The entertainer will play your favorite music throughout your event so that you and your guests have a memorable time on the dance floor. In-house catering services are also available. The culinary team will prepare the meal of your choice on site, and serve it in the style of a buffet or plated dishes.

Exceeding Expectations Making it the Best Day Ever
Everything about Memories Ballroom was exactly what we were looking for. They include severs, bartenders, amazing catering, and very reasonable bar packages in a beautiful, spacious venue. Lisa Green (the VP of operations) is truly the best! She answers all questions in a very timely manner, and makes sure all accommodations are made and met to a very high standard (even on the night before the wedding!)
The food was incredible (and we were also told this by many wedding guests). They have a very good system to make sure everyone gets food in a timely manner.
The venue comes pre-decorated with florals throughout the building (which is incredibly beautiful) and they also ensure you have more than enough time to add all additional decorations or special touches to your big day!
