Michael began his tenure at the Meridian Center while it was still under construction in 2011. His career prior to taking the reins included a diverse background in operations, sales and marketing, hospitality and corporate event planning. He enjoys building strategic partnerships within the community and serves in a leadership role on several local boards of directors. The greatest satisfaction Michael receives from his position is knowing that Meridian Center staff members genuinely care and are passionate about creating special event memories for guests. When not at work, Michael has been known to travel great distances to watch his children play sports or a musical instrument, or compete in martial arts tournaments.

Michael brings his passion for creating memorable moments to every event held at the center. With a background in theatre (including performance, technical design, and operations) and education, he brings a wide variety of skills to his position. Treating each event as an award winning production for the client is his number one goal. Originally from Salina, Kansas, Michael received his education from Kansas State University and remains an avid Wildcat Fan! He has been a professional actor/singer for 20 years, and has performed all over the country. He finds that his performance background and event management / planning have many similarities; the biggest being the ultimate goal of making the customer happy! In his spare time, Michael enjoys a good book, television program or live theatre both onstage and off. He looks forward to working with you on your next event!
