TL;DR - Alyssa and the Miss Lyss Planning team absolutely knocked it out of the park with our wedding. You should hire them right now. Thank me later.

The longer story: My now husband and I had been dreaming of getting married in our backyard since we bought our house a few years back. When we first started planning a backyard wedding, the reality hit that it is not as easy as it sounds to host a wedding on private property. All of the amenities that a traditional venue has, like bathrooms that can accommodate 70 guests and lighting and parking and tables and chairs, we had to get from vendors - on top of all of the other vendors that a wedding involves, like flowers, DJ, food, bartending, etc.

Alyssa made this SO easy with her extensive network of amazing and talented people. She also really got our vision for the day, which at times was pretty particular. She always knew who to recommend that we would vibe with and as a result, our vendor team was the best ever. Everyone was so easy to work with and made the day special.

The planning process and guidance that we got from Alyssa along the way was clear and comforting. We had regular calls and meetings, after which we always felt a lot better about where we were in the planning process. There was never a problem or question we had that Alyssa couldn't answer.

On the day of our wedding, Alyssa and her assistant Sarah brought everything to life. They set up decor and table settings, kept my husband on track with his last minute details, and made my day as the bride so relaxed. Throughout the day, they checked in with us, making sure we had a cocktail in hand and even that my makeup was blotted. My mother-in-law at one point asked Alyssa if she had boob tape for a wardrobe malfunction, and sure enough, she delivered! At the end of the night, I didn't have to worry about anything. Alyssa made sure everything was in its place before she left.

Alyssa brought a grace and finesse to the entire planning process, and her enthusiasm for our wedding made it fun even when we were up to our eyeballs in details.

Alyssa was the wedding coordinator for one of my best friend's weddings and I was amazed by her organization and how she was able to take care of EVERYTHING on the day of. So when my husband and I got engaged, they were a no brainer. Jackie was our lead coordinator and she was just as wonderful as Alyssa! She was there to answer every question I had, offer fun ideas, and she embraced my type A personality. They forms and spreadsheets we had to fill out were so detailed and I LOVED it. They made me consider all the finer details of the day and helped me to reassure myself that I had done everything I could to be ready for the big day. On the day of, she easily took care of everything from set up, coordinating with vendors, and all the clean up. Alyssa even stopped in to see me while I was getting my hair done at the end of the night--despite being scheduled somewhere else! Both Alyssa and Jackie went out of their way to make feel special and so cared for. There's no other planning team like them!
