About

After 10,000 years, the people of South Texas found their cultures, their very lives under attack. In the early 1700s Apache raided from the north, deadly diseases traveled from Mexico, and drought lingered. Survival lay in the missions. By entering a mission, they foreswore their traditional life to become Spanish, accepting a new religion and pledging fealty to a distant and unseen king.

Alice from Mission San Jose Church was such a joy to work with! She was very helpful and never hesitated to answer any of my questions. I am so glad that we had our ceremony service in there beautiful church!

We did our ceremony at Mission San Jose in San Antonio the price was very reasonable because it is a national park. We were allowed to do pretty much whatever we wanted. We did have to work around their schedule for the ceremony time, but I think it was worth it! The historical aspects were awesome!!

Having my wedding at the Mission San Jose was a true dream. Alice and her coordinators, Jesse and Susan, made it easy!
