Melissa did an amazing job as our wedding planner! Selecting Melissa was by far the most important and best decision we made. She was always very responsive, organized, and detailed oriented. She knew every single detail of the wedding and even reminded me if there was anything that I missed through her regular emails and “to do” list for me. As a project manager myself, I know that I can be very detail oriented and have a tendency to try to micro manage my project if necessary but when I worked with Melissa, I knew that I was in good hands because I trusted her to take care of everything. She handled everything for me and there wasn’t one thing that she didn’t already have planned. All of my wedding vendors were excellent project managers and I felt that I had the “A Team” with Melissa leading the team. She made sure that everything went as planned and I can honestly say that our wedding planning process was not stressful as I thought it might be and the day of the wedding was stress free because of Melissa. I gave Melissa my vision for the wedding and she executed my wedding with everything that I envisioned it to be from my “Walk through memory lane” walkway with pictures of Erwin and myself growing up as the entrance to our wedding venue, to our time capsule wedding at our cocktail area and beautiful and creative ribbon décor for our placecards, and ensuring that all décor, lighting, and everything was setup properly .When Melissa gave me a sneak peek into our wedding venue before all of our guests entered the white tent, I was speechless because the venue was so beautifully decorated and it was exactly how I envisioned everything. Even after the wedding, her team cleaned up the venue and packed everything for us so that Erwin and I didn’t have to worry about it. Melissa from MLM Worldwide Event Planning was incredible and down to earth. I contacted Melissa about 6 weeks before the wedding and she reassured me that everything will come together and be perfect. With only 8 weeks total to plan the wedding, I had many doubts, stresses, and meltdowns. Each and every time, Melissa was there (email or phone) to help me and calm me down. Melissa was always easy to get a hold of and she knew exactly what I was talking about. There were never any confusions and she acted like I was her only client. Words cannot express how grateful I am of her and her services. Without her, I don’t think I could have put the wedding together in 8 weeks. She definitely went above and beyond her duties as a planner and coordinator. She helped me decide on lots of elements that I didn’t think about, know about, or was indecisive about. The best thing about Melissa as a planner/coordinator is that she doesn’t make it into her wedding ideas. She took the bits and pieces I gave her about my vision and made it 100x better. When I walked into the venue during the wedding day, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it turned out with the budget I gave Melissa for the décor – which is another point, I was a bride with a budget and Melissa, being so crafty and resourceful, made sure I got everything I wanted without going over budget or compromising the style. She put in a lot of time and effort prior to the wedding that she did not have to do. For example, she picked up desserts, contacted vendors, picked up ceremony accessories, handmade signs (my favorite part), painted the décor to match the color theme, contacted family and relatives, etc.

One thing that I remember and appreciate most about Melissa was during our initial meeting when she told me to relax and give her everything that stresses me out. She didn’t want me to stress and anything stress related, she would take care of for me. And amazingly, she did. I don’t think you can find another planner/coordinator like MLM who would go about and beyond without charging a ridiculous amount. If you are shopping around for a planner/coordinator, make sure you read what the company is willing to offer. I found a lot of times, they are only willing to communicate via email and show up the day of. So be careful and happy planning =)
