I couldn't have been happier with Morningside String Trio. They were a delight to work with before the wedding - they have a large list of songs they can plan and suggest, which was very helpful. I was nervous about them not being at the rehearsal, but they are pros and it was a seamless event. They are talented and everyone enjoyed the music before and during the ceremony. I'm so grateful that I found them!

Julie Castor and her colleagues did a wonderful job for our wedding. They played for the pre-wedding reception as well as for the ceremony. Although the core group is a trio, we wanted a string quartet rather than a string trio, and they were able to accommodate that easily.

They have a large repertoire of music that they can play - classical, light classical, and popular music.

They were flexible and accommodating. For the reception music, they provided us a list in advance and we were able to select some favorites. We had one particular piece that we wanted as the pre-ceremony music (Wagner's Siegfried Idyll), and Julie found the music for it, arranged for string quarte. A friend of ours sang before the ceremony, and they were able to play directly from a piano-vocal score, without a string quartet arrangement.

At my request they dressed in brightly colored cocktail dresses, providing a touch of elegance as well as fun. I wish I hadn't been so busy with our guests - I would have loved to have more time to stop and simply listen to them and watch them play!

We were very pleased with Julie and her colleagues, and warmly recommend them.

This classical group was amazing. I had gotten them through Manhattan School of Music's hire a musician program, and despite me booking them only a few weeks before the wedding, they made themselves very available to me for deciding what music in their repertoire we liked, and what music that wasn't listed that we wanted. I even asked them advice on what they thought were good selections, since I had an idea of what I wanted, but no real songs to list out for certain parts of the ceremony. To be honest, the wedding day was a blur, and I don't remember how they sounded, but everyone complemented us on choosing such a lovely trio.
