Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center offers a beautiful new boathouse venue on the shores of Lake Washington in Seattle’s charming Mount Baker neighborhood. This contemporary upper-floor event space is bathed in natural light and accented with re-claimed hardwood finishes. This is an great choice for a what I consider to be a budget wedding price for a small to medium wedding party (parking can be limited). The location is right on Lake Washington. It is owned and managed by the Seattle Parks Department, so there are limitations and requirements to work around. It is also not full of natural light and the lighting inside is low - so for photographs you need to account for that. The staff was helpful and friendly during touring for previewing and on the day of the event. There was a bit of confusion about receiving our payment and paperwork at the main parks office, which is why I only gave them 4 stars for responsiveness as we had more back and forth than we should of to get to the right person to sort all of that out.
