Hello, my name is Emily Meade; I’ve been a florist for twelve years now. I have always had a passion for gardening and all things flowers! Since childhood I’ve studied plants through many adventures in the woods and from planting my own gardens. In 2009 I decided to further my plant education at Vermont Technical College, where I studied Landscape Design and Sustainable Horticulture. During my first summer home from college, I opened a farm stand, which I currently co-own with my Grandfather.
During my summers home from college I worked both at my farm stand as well as a local floral shop. During this time I learned a lot about the basics of plant care, floral design, and the handling and care of flowers. Through my work at the flower shop I fell in love with floral design and decided once graduating college I would continue this line of work. After gaining enough knowledge and experience to start out on my own business, I opened M’s Wedding Flowers. M’s Wedding Flowers is based out of my home in Duxbury, VT, where I live with my husband and our Four legged freinds.
