Music On Move is a wedding DJ company based out of Poughkeepsie, New York. Owner and entertainer Hobie Armstrong has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, having started performing in 1997. He has worked with couples all over the country as well as further afield. Hobie's, also known as DJ HBomb, loves sharing his talents with to-be-weds and wants to help make every event unforgettable.

Services Offered

Music On Move's services start with a consultation. At this meeting, you can discuss your vision for the day and musical tastes with Hobie to put together the perfect playlist. Some of the genres you can choose from include country, soul, pop, and hip hop. He is also happy to act as MC to help the event run smoothly. Hobie provides his own sound equipment, and can also supply microphones.

Music on the Move "Don't stop the party "

Hobie with Music on the Move was nothing less than amazing at our daughter's sweet 16. He really listened to everything she wanted before her event during our planning sessions and made all of her dreams come true at the event. He had the dance floor filled all night long and was extremely dedicated to her special evening. Thank you so much for a memorable evening we loved you and couldn't have imagined the evening without you!

Hobie and Nina were amazing.

Hobie and Nina went above and beyond to make my daughters Sweet 16 everything and more. I will be using them again.

A real party!

Hobie was great to work with the entire time. I told him that I really just wanted to have a party and he took that and ran with it. I loved the songs he ended up playing and my family loved the Hispanic song picks. I even asked if he could MC our trivia game and he did an awesome job with that too! (Picture attached)
Considering the price and the service we got I feel like it was a steal! 10/10 would recommend.
