Manuel Lupen is a multifaceted artist, whose talent spans across various disciplines of music. He has built an incredible reputation for himself as a DJ, vocalist and entertainer. He started playing the drums at the age of thirteen, and quickly progressed to playing Latin percussion. It wasn't long before he took up DJing and emceeing, and eventually singing.

Manuel's passion for music has been shaped by his formal and informal education, and he has been fortunate enough to have had some incredible mentors along the way. One of his most significant influences was Oscar Valdes, former singer and percussionist from Irakere. Under Valdes's guidance, Manuel honed his craft and developed a unique style that is both captivating and soulful.

In 2015, Manuel started the Musicology Project, which saw him travel the world in search of inspiration and new musical genres. He explored different cultures, instruments and sounds, from Sri Lanka to the Middle East, from Europe to the Caribbean, and the United States. He collaborates with artists from different continents, including a violinist from Croatia, a percussionist from Cuba, a saxophonist from the Dominican Republic, and a singer from Cyprus. This fusion of cultures and sounds can be heard in Manuel's performances today.

Manuel has also released three singles over the past few years, which can be found on all major streaming platforms. His music is energetic, engaging and interactive, and his performances are always a highlight for any event.
