About

New Field Farm at Timber Ridge is a one-of-a-kind historic farm turn wedding event venue nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia. The venue is a 200+ year-old, picturesque 238-acre farm located just minutes from downtown Lexington, and the intersection of Route 64 and I-81. We look forward to sharing the history, majesty, and simple charm of the property with you and your family for your special day.

The venue has a timeless aesthetic, which is perfect for hosting an event that is customizable to you!

The Barn

The barn, which is completely restored and currently accepting bookings, is located on an operating farm alongside a farmhouse that is currently being restored.

On the main floor of the barn, you will find a large event floor space, suited for 175 guests indoors all at once, offering an option for an indoor or outdoor ceremony. The main event space is complete with handicap-accessible restrooms, a dance floor, ceremony space, bandstand, fully equipped bar, and a covered deck overlooking the Shenandoah Valley with a scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. On the bottom floor of the barn, you will find two dressing room suites, and 2 guest bedroom suites available for overnight accommodations so the wedding party can remain close to the action of the big event. Additionally, on the bottom floor of the barn, you can find a catering kitchen with plenty of storage, counter space, and a walk-in cooler perfect for wedding cakes and floral arrangements.

The Grounds

Walking around the barn you will find a manicured landscape perfect for an outdoor ceremony where up to 200 guests can join you in your big day, a large patio for entertaining during the reception, and a complimentary Cub Cadet golf cart with driver to take you around the 240 acres for a private photo session.

Aloha! I'm studying at Brigham Young University - Hawaii, but helping my family's small business grow! I have years of experience working in customer services from the small town of Lexington, VA to North Shore Oahu. When I was little, I had a folder just for planning parties for me, my stuffed animals... and even my cat. Now that I am older, I am over the moon to be helping people arrange their events at my family's historic barn turned event venue. I guess somethings don't change! I look forward to working with you and helping you with your special day at New Field Farm at Timber Ridge.
