About

I've been a Certified Wedding Planner for 20 years. After planning several weddings in different towns and venues, I bought my own historic wedding chapel and held many weddings there from 2012-2018. In June 2020 I decided to become a wedding officiant.

I was inspired to choose "Officiant de Mariage" as my business name because my husband and l love Paris, and have seen so many beautiful weddings there in outdoor venues.

I have planned small intimate weddings, and weddings with large wedding parties, and up tp 150 guests.I have hosted traditional weddings, multiracial weddings, and LGTBQ weddings. Now I want to scale down to officiating only, at your chosen venue!

I would be honored to discuss your wishes for your wedding ceremony with you. I'm sure that together we can plan a lovely wedding day for you!

Memories that will be forever lasting

Wedding planning may be tough. During my experience, I let my gut make the decisions. I ran through ideas with my husband, but ultimately, I was the planner for our wedding. We cannot thank Officiant de Mariage enough for conducting our ceremony. Karen, my husband, and I spoke a few times over the phone to arrange what we wanted to plan. Karen is very organized and professional. It was extremely apparent that she had a lot of experience. We chose not to have a rehearsal dinner, so we rehearsed the ceremony over the phone. Everything was confirmed and typed out by Karen. Our ceremony went so smoothly and it was a great experience to share with Officiant de Mariage ❤️🤍💛 thank you so much for marrying us. We hired Karen for our wedding and she went above and beyond even though she was unable to attend rehearsal she sent over a work sheet and helped keep us organized. Definitely would recommend her for your wedding day!!

A Real Gem of an Officiant

Karen was a real pleasure to work with. My now husband and I were planning on doing a JoP ceremony, but alas, my city doesn't offer that. Then when we were advised to go to the magistrate, we found that they had extremely limited hours. With the clock now ticking, and us still wanting something small, we started to panic. I found Karen and entered my information to be contacted on a Saturday night. She called the next morning, I told her what we wanted, and six days later, she made it happen. She had a beautiful location for our quickie wedding, and it turned out more special than we imagined. Her spirit also contributed greatly into making the day so much more than just legalizing our already 12 year union. Endless thank you's, you deserve it.
