Beautiful setting for our rehearsal dinner-- very unique!

While negotiating our contract Ella told us we would be able to set up Friday and break down Sunday. On Friday, we arrive and Ella says that we weren’t supposed to set up that day but since we were there she would let us. When we started to look around we noticed how disgusting they place was. There was a dead bat carcass being eaten by ants on a mantle. Dead bugs littered the floors. Wasps nest were all around the outside porch. The urinal in the men’s room was broken and was leaking urine onto the floor. We spent the whole day cleaning and were not able to go get showered before our rehearsal. The next day on my wedding, Ella apologized that she had been looking at the contract of a different couple and we were allowed to set up the day before after all. Since we had such a terrible experience and had to do the cleaning, Ella said we would get extra on our deposit when that came back. We got our deposit back today and there was no extra even though we left the venue cleaner than we found it.
