Old World Wisconsin is a living history museum and wedding venue located in Eagle, Wisconsin that serves couples all over Milwaukee and Madison. This unique museum opened its doors in 1976, to celebrate the United States' 200-year-old anniversary. Couples and their guests will enjoy the sights, sounds and spirit of the immigrants who came to this country to build a life. Old World Wisconsin offers both indoor and outdoor venues for your ceremony and reception on their beautiful, historic property.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 175 guests at this charming venue. For your ceremony, they offer their picturesque Green. The Kettle Moraine Forest and 1897 octagonal barn will serve as your backdrop as you exchange your vows. After you say your “I do’s,” your guests can congregate in their beautiful Garden Patio for cocktails and appetizers. For your reception, their Clausing Barn Loft is perfect. This octagonal-shaped barn features a huge, vaulted ceiling and rustic decor that you can use as you see fit. It also boasts a full bar, modern restrooms and limited kitchen access for the caterer of your choice. Their historic village complete with wooded trails, a one-room school, a blacksmith and more, makes for unforgettable photo opportunities.

This full-service venue offers event planning in their rental fees to ensure your celebration goes smoothly from start to finish. Tables and chairs are provided, along with setup and cleanup. There’s also plenty of parking for you and your guests. Bar services are offered for an additional fee, as well as a list of recommended caterers and overnight accommodations if you need suggestions. Other Services
For intimate weddings of 65 guests or less, couples can use St. Peter’s Church. This gorgeous church was built in 1839, and pairs well with a reception in Caldwell Hall. A horse-drawn wedding carriage will take you to your ceremony, and then you can dine and dance the night away in their 19th century hall.
