I started life as a singer. At the age of 14, I was in love with the drama of opera; the sets, the costumes, the music, the magic! I loved being on stage and communicating to an audience all those powerful emotions that make us human and alive.

Through illness, I wasn't able to make opera performance my career- but the creativity from the arts never stopped flowing. One day, I came across this container of glass beads. I brought them home and I played, and the playing never stopped! In all that time, I've learned much about different materials. My favorites are Czech glass and Swarovski crystal, but I love different gemstones and freshwater pearls as well.

Once I started, jewelry creation became my life, my emotional release. I love bringing the stage to my designs. Our style is a way of physically expressing ourselves, and sometimes we feel demure, sometimes dramatic! But, if our friend Shakespeare said, "All the world is a stage, and we are the players," then I'm still on stage, and creating the costumes of life.

Though I create all kinds of jewelry, I have fallen in love with bridal jewelry, so it makes perfect sense to join Weddingwire! They are all my handmade beaded jewelry. Some of my styles are vintage, modern, simple or fantastical- but all unique. All my designs I have discovered on my own through time and experimentation. My creations can run from delicate and accessible to fancy and elaborate, but all original and one of a kind.
