Working with Alix was an absolute pleasure. From the initial planning through the day of execution. Alix is the most detailed orientated person I know and the entire event went off without a hitch. I wasn't sure about hiring a day of coordinator, however took the plunge and was so happy we did! Alix was so helpful and responsive. She has a pretty smooth process and a very polished presentation. Additionally, when a vendor threw the most bizarre and stressful wrench into our wedding- the week before(!), she immediately called to make sure I was OK, and to discuss damage control and planning moving forward. She made sure I knew I wasn't alone maneuvering a crappy situation and I cannot express the gratitude that I have for the service she provided and how wonderful she was to work with. She also referred us to a vendor that was an absolute hit at the wedding. She was able to make our vision a beautiful reality. We planned our wedding in about 3 months and from 1350 miles away. Even though it was pretty small (40 guests) and casual, I could NOT have done it myself. I was so lucky to find that Alix with Pettibone events was available to help us with day-of-management on such short notice and for such a great value. Our wedding day went perfectly and Alix took care of EVERYTHING - from coordinating with other vendors and setting up/tearing down the space and decorations, to hiding the sound system microphone from crazy kids and making sure we ate dinner. My (new) husband was not originally convinced we needed to hire a coordinator, but at the end of our wedding day he told me that Alix and Pettibone events were BY FAR the best money we spent! And I couldn't agree more.
