Pit Boys catered my husband and I's wedding and we cannot say enough good things about Marla and her team. From the moment we walked into their restaurant for a taste test to all of the planning and then the big day, Marla was flexible, professional and made changes to our guest count last minute with no problem at all. The day of our event her and her team arrived and were prepared to help us do anything they could to make our day amazing. The food was sooooo good for an amazing price, and the service was excellent. The bar tenders and servers were phenomenal! They had to leave and make a trip to get extra alcohol throughout the night and I would have never known because they handled it so smoothly. The shortage of alcohol was a lack of planning on my part not theirs, and they were so go with the flow about having to go get more. Marla is so kind and easy to work with—halfway through the reception she noticed my husbands younger brother was getting blisters from his dress shoes and she TOOK HIM BACK TO THE AIRBNB TO GET NEW SHOES. I was absolutely astonished by her kindness and willingness to help with whatever she could + her and her staff prepared and served AMAZING food for an amazing price. My hubby and I highly recommend Marla and her team for your special event!

This was the best decision of my wedding. Marla, owner who also worked the wedding, was fabulous. She acted as our day-of planner at no extra cost. She let me drop off all of my decorations before the wedding at her shop so we didn't have to do anything day of... they set it all up too... then, they took it all back after the wedding so I didn't have to worry about cleanup/taking things from the venue that night. We were able to pick up decorations at her shop two days after the wedding. She and her team were awesome... oh, and the food was super great! Nothing super fancy and gross (like many wedding foods)... just solid amazing smoked turkey, pit beef, green beans, etc. etc. Just phenomenal and, again, best decision of our wedding!

Marla at Pit Boys is a life saver!!! More like "wedding saver" Lol. 3 weeks before my wedding, Sam's on the Waterfront owner Andrew cancelled on me after I paid a deposit to have a cocktail reception at his restaurant. I ate there once and will NEVER go to Sam's on the Waterfront again and don't recommend you go either. Due to the last minute change in location I was left searching for a venue for my guests. Marla came through for me. I arranged to use the Visitor Center Cafe at Quiet Waters Park and Marla covered food and drink for my guests. THANKS Marla, from the bottom of our hearts.
