Prairie Street Brewing Company is located in Northern Illinois on the Rock River. Our venue offers a unique blend of indoor and outdoor spaces with a captivating 19th-century industrial charm. Our location is a National Historic Landmark and the oldest surviving brewery building in the state of Illinois.
From intimate microweddings to large-scale gatherings, we have the flexibility to accommodate celebrations of all sizes. Rest assured, our spaces are designed to provide a seamless and memorable experience for you and your loved ones.
Our highly acclaimed kitchen is dedicated to preparing extraordinary meals from our catering menu, offering customizable options to suit every taste and need. To compliment your menu, we offer a curated wine list, custom cocktails, zero proof options, and brewed on site, award‑winning beer in a variety of classic and seasonal styles.
A wedding is a truly special and unique occasion, one that feels like no other event before. But at the same time, it requires flawless execution that comes with experience and expertise. Our team specializes in achieving that delicate balance. Every wedding at Prairie Street is overseen by an Events Specialist who will work closely with you to bring your dream celebration to life. You’ll have a Day‑Of Wedding Coordinator to ensure that every element comes together exactly as you envisioned it - flawlessly and with unforgettable memories.

Barrel Room
- Seated capacity is 300 people at 5-ft round tables
- This room is great for large weddings and connected to our Malt Room and Ice Cellar, should you want extra space.

- Seated capacity is 56 people at 5-ft round tables
- This room is good for small to medium gatherings, rehearsal dinners and showers
Ice Cellar, Patio and Dock
- Our copper-topped bar with 10-line draft system opens to our dock
- We offer a full bar with wine, spirits and our very own award-winning beer
- The bar is connected to the patio and dock, making sure that your guests can enjoy the beautiful views on the Rock River.
- Outdoor weddings are held on our dock.
- This room is perfect for cocktail hours and rehearsal dinners.
Bottling House
- Seated capacity is 120 people at 5-ft round tables
- Freshly renovated, this room is light and bright with high ceilings and river views.
- Wireless mic and built-in speakers
- This room is great for microweddings, showers, and rehearsal dinners
Peacock Room
- Seated capacity is 88 people at 5-ft round tables
- Views of the Rock River
- Built-in speakers and HDTV
- Exposed brick
- This room is great for microweddings, showers and rehearsal dinners
Petritz Board Room
- Capacity is set for 16 seated

Great venue for our day

Professional. Timely. Great food. Incredible.
With rain in the forecast leading up to our wedding day, they knew how much we wanted to have our ceremony on their deck outside. Even with thunderstorms in the forecast day of, they held off on setting up to wait to see if the rain held off. We're extremely grateful they did as we were able to have our wedding ceremony outside. I can't imagine the stress this put the staff under, but we're extremely grateful for them all.
PSB as a whole is a gorgeous venue and has so much room for those that attend. Nitsy and Danielle were great during the reception, and also coordinated with our band, photographer, the taco food truck we had pull up for late night bites right next to the reception hall, and company that provided our wedding cheesecake.
The food was choice. As most couples are, we were a bit nervous about a wedding venue also providing food and it being quality for everyone. However, without even asking, we had numerous guests, old and young, come up to us and tell us their plate was very delicious. No matter if they received the beef, chicken, or vegetable lasagna.
My wife and I are incredibly happy with the venue we chose, and we can't wait to go back and visit for a beer, lunch and see how the staff are doing.
