The perfect venue!

My wife & I toured about 12 venues before finally coming to prospect house. We knew within 5 minutes this was our spot. It is so beautiful inside and out. The staff is so kind and patience and helpful. Lucy was a dream to work with! It’s not too far for guests coming from Austin but far enough to give it the hill country charm. The getting ready rooms are gorgeous! And the rest of the venue is so timeless, it made for the perfect backdrop for photos. We loved every second of our wedding here!

Dream Wedding Venue!

We hosted our wedding reception at Prospect House at the end of September and can't say enough good things about our experience with the venue! From the moment we started our initial tour, I knew we had found our spot. The team was organized and prompt in their communication, which will be very important to you when you're in the midst of wedding planning! I loved the clean beauty of the space - it pulled in the natural elements of the hill country but with modern finishes. The space and abundant light and windows meant you could easily morph it to suit your vision, or leave it as is and it would still be beautiful. Since we were married offsite, we were also able to take advantage of the outdoor lawn space for cocktail hour. This ended up being a huge hit with our guests and looked stunning! The Prospect House team was accommodating in all of our requests and helped us to fit a larger group than we had originally anticipated. I also used their in-house wedding planning service and thoroughly enjoyed working with Katy! It's a huge bonus that she is in-house - she knows the ins and outs of PH. I'm a bit of a control-freak, but I was really able to enjoy our wedding week and day because she had everything completely under control. Thank you to Katy and Prospect House for making my vision come to life! Our wedding day was more wonderful than we could have imagined.

Ideal Texas Hill Country Wedding Venue

We love Prospect House. Every aspect of Prospect House is gorgeous at all times of year and in all types of weather -- rain or shine. The seamless transitions between spaces, the indoor and the outdoor spaces included, was terrific and created the community feeling we wanted. The team at P.H. was also so easy to work with and accommodating to our needs and coordinated with all our vendors.

We absolutely love working at Prospect House! Not only is it easy & convenient to work at from a catering perspective given the large kitchen space, easy load-in access & potable water (a hot commodity in Texas hill country!) but also...it's simply gorgeous. We have catered several weddings at Prospect House & they were incredibly accommodating in letting us stage a styled wedding photo shoot there recently as well. As a person who has been helping others plan their weddings for 5-6 years, I will now be hosting my own at Prospect House! The juxtaposition of the thoughtful modern design set against the hill country backdrop is absolutely breathtaking & every little bit of comfort you need is on site (gorgeous dressing rooms, clever built-in bars, full sound system, fantastic rain plan option, etc.). Thanks for being awesome, Erich & Kathryn!
