It was a very beautiful cake. Everybody enjoy it and it was very good.

The cake was beautiful, the price was amazing and the service was superb! Even though we were ordering from a grocery store, they made us feel like we were working with a speciality bakery, all for a fabulous price. We placed our order several months before the wedding, and in that time I changed my mind a million times. More cake, less cake. Different sizes. New designs. The staff at Publix never acted as though it was a problem. They were always sweet, helpful and accommodating. We had vanilla cake with lemon filling and buttercream, as well as strawberry cake with buttercream. Both were moist and delicious. Everyone loved it! They were even able to do Clemson tiger stripes on the groom's cake for my husband, and it looked fantastic The only downside is that Publix cannot place trademarked designs/logos on your cake. However, we came up with a simple workaround. I ordered an edible icing sheet in the shape of the Clemson tiger paw from Etsy, had my sister-in-law place it on the cake an hour before, and it looked perfect! You never would've known the difference. I would highly recommend Publix if you are looking for a delicious, great looking cake at a great price!

While the event planners where great to work with and the price was great I had issues with our order. we ordered a small 8in cake for us and then 3 different kinds of cupcakes, a chocolate with chocolate buttercream, a vanilla with vanilla buttercream and a vanilla with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream. When I came to pick up my order they gave me a cake and like 20 cupcakes when I told them that was incorrect , that I'd ordered 100 and there were supposed to be 3 different flavors they looked freaked out like they had no idea what I was talking about although after a little bit they did find them. In retrospect I should have asked which cupcakes were which but I assumed the box that had the sharpies arrows outlining a certain portion and marked glazed was probably the strawberry ones. Wrong. There we're few cupcakes with the strawberry filling but there definitely weren't 35 of them and they were all mixed together with the plain vanilla which made separating them impossible. All in all the cupcakes all tasted good but I was bothered by the lack of communication between the event planning staff and the bakery staff. I will continue getting my cakes and deserts from publix because they are always delicious and the price is great but I'll stick to one flavor so I don't end up wasting a bunch looking for the filling that isn't there to try and separate the flavors.
