Diane and Mary at Publix #0761 Aprons Event Planning were most helpful in selecting, booking and delivering our wedding cake. With a "grocery store" cake, I was worried I wouldn't get the full wedding cake experience with the tasting and customization I'd hoped for. That was not the case at all! From our very first consultation and tasting, Diane Moore made my groom and I feel like we were in a boutique bakery. They made up three little tasting cakes and had a variety of fillings for us to try, even mixing in some unique flavors I'd asked about on the phone. In the end, we selected a white cake with buttercream and raspberry filling and chocolate cake with buttercream and chocolate-hazelnut cream cheese filling. Both were to die for! Diane stayed in touch throughout the months leading up to the wedding, offering other options we could add on to our order. She was even kind enough to draw up an order for ice and soda that we didn't end up needing, and was gracious enough to remove it. The cake was customized to a photo we had found online, and the simple design was stunning. If you've ever had Publix cake before, you know that nothing comes close in flavor, but I'm happy to report the design was just as yummy as the flavor of the cake itself. Couldn't be happier with our budget-friendly and super tasty wedding cake, and we couldn't have done it without Diane and Mary!

Our choice of Wedding Cake for our November Wedding was a cupcake cake from Publix Bakery. This was the closest Publix to our venue and they did a wonderful job. We had a lovely cake tasting months before the event and decided upon a nutella butter-cream filled cake and cupcakes. They were delicious and well priced. Farrah took our order and facilitated our tasting, while Diane oversaw the making and delivery. Both of these ladies were terrific and went out of their way to make the event extra special. Everything was wonderful and the only reason we took off half a point was because it was pointed out to us on the day that the top two layers were ever so slightly lopsided. No big deal, it was hardly visible, they still tasted great. Thanks Publix.
