We first tried Purple Dough years before our wedding when we were exploring Filipino desserts in NYC. When planning for our wedding, we had no idea they make wedding cakes & favors. We had tried many of their sweets that we knew they would not disappoint with their wedding desserts. We had a multi-tier ube + coconut pandan cake which was phenomenal and the best cake flavors we have ever had at a wedding. They really stood true to the ube and pandan flavors, which we can strongly vouch for as people who regularly enjoy Asian and Filipino desserts.

Purple Dough also provided us with our wedding favors. Originally, we were planning to get donuts from another bakery. Unfortunately, that fell through last minute and Mark at Purple Dough was more than willing to accommodate our late request for 200 donuts. We had ube, coconut pandan, matcha, and Thai tea donuts. As with our cake, the flavors did not disappoint and everyone was pleased with the donut favors.

Working with Mark was easy & pleasant and our cake & favors exceeded both our's and our guest's expectations. We strongly recommend Purple Dough for any wedding cake/dessert needs, and we will continue to return here to fulfill our Asian/Filipino sweet tooth!
