To say that Rachael is AMAZING is the understatement of the century! I have been fortunate to know her for 14 years and when my fiancé proposed and we discussed Asheville for we wedding destination, I reached out to Rachael before we even signed our venue contract. She is not only fun, but she has been dubbed as the photography ninja by our family and friends. She didn't miss a single moment of our wedding and every time you turned around, she was there capturing it all (Hiking up into the field to get that epic mountain shots - Yep! In the dressing room getting those special shots with my mom - Yep! In the middle of a sweaty and packed dancefloor - ABSOLUTELY!). She made us feel comfortable and was efficient at getting our very large extended families to assemble for photos immediately after the ceremony. She also was a rockstar at dismissing our bridal party/extended family to cocktail hour as soon as she got the shots so they could enjoy the views, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres.
What truly put me into an emotion puddle (THE GREAT KIND!) was they day after our wedding, my husband and I were traveling back to Charlotte and reliving the day through photos from friends and family. To my utter shock, Rachael had sent me a sneak peak before noon with the most amazing photos. She truly captured the fun and excitement of our big day but she also made game-time adjustments to ensure we got photos with the mountain views before the rain. She truly is the best human and is so talented. My husband and I talked after our wedding and both of us agreed, that if we were to do it again, we wouldn't change a single thing! If you are considering Rachael, do yourself a favor and ask her for a contract IMMEDIATELY!!! You will NOT regret it!

Rachael was the first vendor that I interviewed, and I was so impressed with her that I canceled meetings with the other photographers and booked the rest of my vendors (many of which she helped me find) around her availability.

Rachael and Lindsay made wedding planning incredibly easy. They provided us with multiple packets filled with helpful tips and ideas and were readily available for questions and meetings. Emails were always promptly returned, often within hours. R+L consistently displayed friendliness, professionalism, and clarity in their communication. And, it's worth noting that every vendor we mentioned Rachael to had only lovely things to say about her.

On the day of the wedding, everyone commented on what an amazing team Rachael and Lindsay were. I've never been a fan of having my picture taken or having people in my personal space. I had communicated this, along with my desire to not spend our entire wedding taking pictures, during our initial meeting. R+L respected these concerns and did a beautiful job ensuring that we used our time efficiently, all while maintaining a relaxed and un-rushed atmosphere. I've never felt so at ease in front of a camera!

Furthermore, Rachael and Lindsay went above and beyond their roles. When one of our vendors fell short, they seamlessly stepped in to ensure our day ran smoothly. They took charge of our wedding day timeline, expertly handled unexpected lighting challenges, and even assisted in directing guests.

We received our sneak peeks in a matter of days and our final gallery in less than a month. Looking at our photos, it’s clear Rachael's talent extends beyond mere photography; she has a unique ability to capture the intricate details, the essence of individuals, and the raw emotions of the moment. It's noteworthy that Rachael provided us with ALL of our pictures, preserving the full spectrum of our memories, not just a selective few she deemed best.

It's rare to come across people who excel not only in their artistic craft but also the business side of things, but Rachael is one of them. We are immensely grateful to both Rachael and Lindsay for being an integral part of our wedding journey. Their expertise and genuine care made all the difference, and we'll forever cherish the beautiful memories they captured.
