River Stone Manor, a historic estate located about 30 minutes from Albany, hosts weddings for couples looking for a classic venue in Schenectady, New York. Begin with your ceremony on the grounds and enjoy acres of landscaping and greenery along the banks of the Mohawk River. Choose between the indoor cocktail hour space, the Union Room (coming January 2025!), or the outdoor cocktail hour space, the Terrace Tent. Your guests will have a memorable evening with dinner and dancing in the newly renovated Main Ballroom for the remainder of the reception.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can invite up to 220 guests to join them in celebrating their wedding. The outdoor ceremony space lies on the banks of the Mohawk River surrounded by oak trees. The Main Ballroom is placed atop a knoll and offers views of the river through its full wall of windows. The ballroom also has French doors that open to a luxurious patio. The Union Room is our new indoor cocktail hour space and will be available starting in January of 2025. The outdoor cocktail hour space, the Terrace Tent, is set upon a brick patio that sits just 30 feet from the river and boasts a tile and granite bar as well as ceiling fans and sides that can be opened depending on the weather.

Perfect venue
All of the staff are absolutely amazing as well. Maureen made me feel calm and beautiful before walking down the aisle. Everyone was so friendly and supportive. The food was fantastic!! Definitely recommend attending the tasting event even if you’ve already picked your food because the chefs are masters at their craft and made food I typically would not touch (aka vegan and gluten free options) taste incredible!!
Special thank you to Ashley for taking care of us throughout the whole process. She was super responsive to our emails, met with us at set times to make sure we were on track, and the day of she made sure we were eating and having fun. Ashley is excellent at balancing the logistics with the personal touches and I’m so grateful to have worked with her to make our picture perfect, dream wedding come true!
The moment we set foot on River Stone Manor’s property we knew it was our venue. What we didn’t know was just how attentive, kind, caring, fun, and delicious the entire night would be. 10/10. My only hope is that my friends get married here too so I can keep coming back!
